Meigs County 120″ Culvert Replacement
This $885,644 Culvert Replacement Project consisted of fixing a road slide along the Ohio River by removing an existing 9’ diameter culvert and replacing it with 160 LF of 10’ diameter culvert across State Route 124 in Long Bottom, Ohio. The unusually wet spring coupled with the fact that the culvert terminates in the Ohio River provided the challenges for this project. A tight road closure timeframe of March to May was met so that State Route 124 was safely re-opened on time.
