Pike Lake Dam Improvements
A $3.4 million contract was awarded to Trucco by ODNR to rehabilitate the failing Pike Lake Dam in 2014. This interesting project consisted of siphoning the existing lake down, removing the existing spillway and lake drain, re-shaping the dam, building a new spillway with architectural treatments, landscaping and parking lot remediation. Nearly 7,000 CY of Roller Compacted Concrete was placed on the face of the dam in 1 ft lifts, utilizing a temporary pugmill set up on the site to produce the RCC.
