River Run Subdivision
As part of the River Run subdivision in fast-growing southern Delaware County, this project had some unique aspects and terrain atypical of the region. The terrain was challenging since Delaware County is typically flat ground, yet this site was anything but. A deep stream bed had to be crossed and the rest of site utilities would require steep side hill installation techniques. The most unique aspect, however, was the Bebo ™ Arch Bridge System, spanning 54’ with a 20’ rise while 80’ wide. The Bebo ™ installation challenges included not being able to work inside the stream that it was spanning, weathered rock at the footer elevation, and the fact that at the time of installation it was the largest Bebo ™ set in Ohio. Installation required a 350 ton crane on one side of the ravine working in harmony with a 250 ton crane on the opposite side.
